Congratulations to Bob McCullough, APR …. For Being Inducted Into the PRSA College of Fellows
Robert G. (Bob) McCullough, APR, communications director for the Morgan’s Wonderland Inclusion Foundation (MWIF), has been elected to the 13-member Class of 2021 of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) College of Fellows.
McCullough will be inducted into the College of Fellows, an honorary organization within PRSA, in mid-October in Orlando, Fla.
“Every member of PRSA’s College of Fellows has contributed in extraordinary ways to the advancement of the communications profession, through proven accomplishment, leadership and mentoring expertise,” said Michelle Olson, APR, 2021 PRSA chair.
McCullough joined Morgan’s Wonderland in 2010 before the ultra-accessible™, fully-inclusive theme park opened. He previously headed public relations for SeaWorld San Antonio and corporate communications for CPS Energy, Greater San Antonio’s electricity and natural gas provider. He also completed 30 years of service as a public affairs officer in the U. S. Air Force and Air Force Reserve.
A native of Port Arthur, Texas, McCullough graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism in 1970. Two years later, he earned a master’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism at Columbia.
An accredited member of PRSA, McCullough joined the organization in 1983. He is a past president of PRSA’s San Antonio Chapter and a past president of the Texas Public Relations Association (TPRA). His honors include three awards in the PRSA Silver Anvil competition and the 2005 Tex Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award during PRSA San Antonio’s annual Del Oro Awards banquet.
