Ernest W. Bromley
Ernest is Chairman/CEO of Bromley Communications, LLC. He was part of the original team that founded the agency in 1981. As CEO, Mr. Bromley has worn many hats throughout his career at the agency -- director of research, executive vice president and president. He has been responsible for the development and execution of the agency’s vision and outstanding products and services, and works closely with account teams in developing sound marketing strategies for client partners.
Mr. Bromley has also been instrumental in developing the agency’s research and Hispanic marketing approach, “AIG” (Acculturation Influence Groups). AIG shifted the entire Hispanic marketing industry’s language segmentation model to a languages, culture and generation segmentation model.
Bromley is a trailblazer in building the agency to be the leading Hispanic marketing communications company, empowering clients such as General Mills, Coors Light, Western Union, NBA, Susan G.Komen, and the National Pork Board in the changing American marketplace. Prior to joining the agency, he taught economics at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
An active community and civic leader, Mr. Bromley currently serves on the American Association of Advertising Agencies’ Southern Board of Governors and is Co-chair of the AAAA’s South Texas Council. He is a board member and Treasurer of the National Association of Latino Arts & Culture (NALAC), Co-Chair of the Nielsen Hispanic Advisory Council, Boy Scouts National Hispanic Advisory Council, Chairman of the Alameda Theater, Inc., and the University of Texas at San Antonio - School of Business Advisory Council.
Bromley is the Marketing Committee Chair and board member for the San Antonio Symphony. He is also Vice Chair of the PBS Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Audit Committee and the Strategic Planning Advisory Group. He previously served as co-chair of the Corporate Support Advisory Committee and served on the Station Services Committee.
