Wrap Up of June Luncheon
The sold-out June luncheon featured guest speaker Sara Hicks, marketing manager for The San Antonio Orthopaedic Group, who talked about the company’s experience in winning the small business category in the San Antonio Business Journal’s Social Madness competition last year.
Her presentation on social media, “Creating Your Own Action Plan: Doing More With Less” featured tips and how to engage employees in social media campaigns.
One of PRSA’s sponsor companies, Time Warner Cable, was also on the program to talk about the debut of its new hyper-local cable news channel (channels 14 and 200) that was launched just a few days before the meeting. News Director Michael Pearson and Managing Editor Crestina Chavez shared insights and strategies with the luncheon attendees.
