Wrap Up of April PRSA Luncheon
Ryan Kelly, founder and CEO of Pear Analytics was the April luncheon speaker on search engine optimization (SEO). Some of the highlights:
- The #1 reason SEO is so important is to promote visibility and branding. The top three results in a web search normally get more than 60% of the clicks.
- Search plays a crucial role in the buying cycle. About 70% of the decision to use your company has already been made via search and social media by the time your sales staff gets involved.
- SEO will cost less over time compared to paid search activities.
- SEO doesn’t generate leads. It generates traffic whereby that traffic is nurtured from a suspect to a prospect, or a marketing qualified lead (MQL).
Pear Analytics, founded in 2008, helps businesses measure their marketing results using advanced analytics techniques, and help drive more traffic to websites.
